 AJA botanicals is a British fragrance company that specialises in natural scents. Our fine fragrances give a connection to the natural world, harnessing the holistic power of scent to transform your energy, mindset and space. MMC aligns with our values, whereby we capture the intrinsic power of the earth to create sustainably.

Our founder, Tilly Wood, grew up in the British countryside and is an advocate for natural health and beauty. She started Aja Botanicals in 2020, inspired by her belief in a holistic approach to health and a desire to create natural products for use in her own home. In her quest to create fine fragrances that are as pure as possible, Tilly studied perfumery and works alongside some of the UK’s leading scentmakers to bring her ideas to reality.

Problem

Our ethos is to have a sustainable supply chain and therefore every facet of the business has to incorporate this value. So, when thinking about creating refillable candles, we needed a product that would align with our sustainability principles.

Solution

We needed to find a product that was made in the UK, using climate friendly processes and materials; Mushroom® Packaging seemed like the obvious answer, providing safe transport for our refillable candles. By collaborating with Magical Mushroom Company, it enabled us to tailor make the packaging size to our candle needs.

Result

Mushroom ®Packaging is a really reliable and safe choice for our candles and is able to be grown in high quantities. It supports our sustainable narrative and aligns with our conscious decisions to have a positive impact on the environment.
