THE PROBLEM

The jewellery industry traditionally relies on packaging like boxes and drawstring bags that lack functionality beyond their initial use.
For Fauvirame, this one-time-use packaging conflicted with their commitment to sustainability, creating unnecessary waste and undermining their environmental goals.

CUSTOM MUSHROOM® PACKAGING DESIGN THAT HAS LIFE BEYOND A SINGLE USE
Magical Mushroom Company® provided a custom Mushroom® Packaging solution made from mycelium, the root-like structure of fungi, which binds recycled agricultural waste such as hemp.
This unique material, grown in just days, offered strong, flexible, and biodegradable packaging that protects Fauvirame’s delicate jewellery.
The lightweight Mushroom® Packaging also serves additional purposes, such as plant pots, enhancing its appeal and usability for customers while supporting Fauvirame’s environmental ethos.
